  • Research Interests and Activities:
Laura Nagy is interested in seasonal patterns and process that influence reproductive success in birds. She is expanding on the long-term reproductive studies of Richard Holmes and using Black-throated Blue Warblers to examine the fitness implications of individual variation in females. This variation includes timing, fate, and number nest attempts by each female over the breeding season. Currently, Laura is modeling the importance of the date of first reproductive effort and reviewing preliminary data on food supplementation in the Black-throated Blue Warblers.
